We are dedicated to prosperous living through spiritual awareness of Perfect Health, Perfect Wealth, and Perfect Happiness. We teach and practice how to express full, rich and meaningful lives, regardless of outside conditions, through the use of spiritual mind treatment, effective affirmative prayer.
Center for Spiritual Living, Daytona Beach is an affiliated member of Centers for Spiritual Living, a global New Thought Community.
This spiritual philosophy, previously known as Religious Science or Science of Mind, was founded in 1927 in California by Rev. Dr. Ernest Holmes. Hundreds of our spiritual centers can be found across the Americas, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa.
We are open to all people who seek to express their divine nature in peaceful and joyous ways without regard to age, race, sexual orientation or religious background.
People of all religions attend our Center and are welcome to join as members or not. We are ready to greet you if you are ready to step into a new and fulfilling spiritual path that fulfills human needs in the 21st century.

What We Believe
We believe that there is one ultimate loving energy that is present in all that exists. You may call it whatever you are comfortable with: God, Spirit, Source, the Great I Am, Allah, Yahweh, etc. This is not a personality outside of us, but rather a presence within each of us. We are inherently Spiritual beings having a human experience.
We believe that God does not judge us, does not "keep score" or choose favorites, but is an infinite Source for our growth and evolution. We view the concept of sin as merely "missing the mark" - an opportunity to make a different choice and experience a different outcome.
We believe that heaven and hell are not physical places to which we are sent by God, but describe states of mind. God is unconditional Love, and would not create life to destroy or condemn it. When we tap into the energy of Abundance and Peace, we are in heaven. When we perceive separation from God, we experience hell.
We believe that we co-create with God, that our thoughts create our realities. When we align our thoughts with the perfection of God, we can heal sickness, break free from lack and limitation, and choose a way of living that is joy-filled and powerful.
We believe that we live in an abundant, unlimited universe and that within us lies all the Wisdom, Love and Power needed to create full, joyous, prosperous lives.

WE BELIEVE IN GOD, THE SPIRIT ALMIGHTY; ONE,
INDESTRUCTIBLE, SELF-EXISTENT CAUSE.
WE BELIEVE THIS ONE MANIFESTS ITSELF
IN AND THROUGH ALL CREATION, BUT IS
NOT ABSORBED BY ITS CREATION.
WE BELIEVE THE MANIFEST UNIVERSE IS THE BODY
OF GOD. IT IS THE LOGICAL AND NECESSARY OUT-
COME OF THE INFINITE SELF-KNOWINGNESS OF GOD.
WE BELIEVE IN THE INCARNATION OF THE
SPIRIT IN EACH ONE AND THAT WE ARE ALL
INCARNATIONS OF THE ONE SPIRIT.
WE BELIEVE IN THE ETERNALITY, THE IMMORTALITY,
AND THE CONTINUITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL SOUL,
FOREVER AND EVER EXPANDING.

Ancient Wisdom, New Thought
Our teachings incorporate the ancient wisdom of spiritual traditions through the ages.
The New Thought Movement, of which we are a part, enjoys a wide and varied range of spiritual influences and practices, and the Science of Mind philosophy continues to be supported and validated by modern science. In Science of Mind, we believe that the fields of religion and science are complementary, and that science will prove what the mystics have said for thousands of years about the nature of God, human beings, and the Universe. These beliefs are being proven even now by many quantum physicists who have found that the universe is made up of energy that cannot be destroyed and is infinitely intelligent. Science of Mind is scientific in that is uses laws of nature to prove spiritual principles.
